GameStaars is currently closed. We will reassess the situation when the government ease the restrictions on social gatherings. We will update this website and email STAAR members with any information regarding the reopening of GameStaars.
GameStaars is a weekly games club set up by and for our young people. It is managed by our knowledgeable and inclusive STAAR volunteers. Our young people have access to the most popular consoles, video games and board games. It is a friendly place to chill out and meet new people with similar interests whilst enjoying the best games on the market. STAAR provides food and drink during Gamestaars enabling our young people to come straight from education or work.
GameStaars is open Thursdays and comprises of two sessions:
- YoungStaars runs from 4.15 to 6.15 and is especially suitable for those aged 11-17 (inclusive). Only age-appropriate games are available.
- GameStaars runs from 5.45 to 7.45 and is aimed at young people aged 18+
From 5.30 to 6.15 there is crossover time which enables the older and younger members to meet up.
Fees:
12 week terms – £60
13 week terms – £65
Fees are due on or before the first club date of the term. Fees can be paid in cash, cheque or bank transfer.
